New Lipsticks In store! These are new arrivals from Calvin Klein. To be honest I've never actually tried any products from CK's cosmetic line so I was SUPER excited when I saw these. We only received 3 shades, which are all beautiful.
I've swatched all 3 shades, and my absolute favourite is 500 Liplock (berry) Its a really close dupe for MAC Rebel and the quality is just as great. I also love 210 fancy which is the lighter pink/salmon shade. It went perfectly with the eye makeup I was wearing in the pictures.
Pigmentation: Is great! they provide full colour, in one swipe. 210 fancy is ever so slightly "sheerer" compared to the other two shades. This is normal being a lighter shade.
Texture: Is very smooth and creamy. Applies evenly across the lips with opaque coverage (not patchy at all) It feels super comfortable on the lips.
Finish: They're not matte and they're not overly shiny/glossy. I would describe them to be a Satin finish.
Longevity: The lipstick did wear off easily after eating and drinking. This happens with most lipsticks that aren't matte. I love how comfortable they feel on my lips, so I would still continue to wear them. It just means you'll need to take a compact mirror with you so you can touch up ;)
Packaging: I love the packaging! Its so sleek, apart from the fact that it reminds me of pills? ha! One end is matte black and the other is glossy white. The lipstick tube is very sturdy and feels strong. It honestly feels like I'm holding one of my Mac lipsticks.
